Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) 体育运动 is a joint intercollegiate athletics program between Harvey Mudd College, Claremont McKenna College and Scripps College. Teams are represented by two mascots: Stags and Athenas.

Located on Harvey Mudd’s campus, the Linde Activities Center includes a weight room, 篮球 court and 有氧运动室.

Sallie Tiernan Field House

The Sallie Tiernan Field House contains a weight room, 有氧运动室, cardio machine room, 足球/lacrosse field and a 25-meter lap pool, all located at Scripps College.

Robert’s Pavilion at Claremont McKenna College (CMC) has new facilities available to all Harvey Mudd, CMC and Scripps students and athletes.

Intercollegiate Competition

The intercollegiate athletic program is one of the most successful in the country. A member of NCAA Division III and the nine-member Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC), CMS sponsors 21 intercollegiate sports for men and women.

Intramural Competition

学生 who do not participate in intercollegiate competition may join intramural sports teams for men and women. There is a friendly but fierce rivalry among residence halls in such sports as inner-tube water polo, 夺旗橄榄球, 排球, 足球, 篮球, 垒球, 高尔夫球, 游泳, 网球, bowling and ultimate Frisbee.

Club sports like ballroom dancing, 击剑, 男子曲棍球, men’s and women’s rugby, men’s and women’s ultimate Frisbee, men’s roller hockey, 排球, cycling and equestrian play an important role in The Claremont Colleges’ list of activities.
